Your priorities for our 2023-2026 Strategic Plan
Last October, we invited members to complete a survey to validate priorities for our upcoming strategic plan. We are truly grateful to those who responded to the survey and shared feedback on the major issues and challenges that you’re facing in health care today.
Your survey feedback indicated strong support for the strategic themes of
- health human resources;
- equity, diversity and inclusion; and
- planetary health.
New grant opportunity: Canadian Aid and Action Fund
I am pleased to announce the launch of the Canadian Aid and Action Fund (CAAF), a new grant created to support Fellow-led projects that address issues impacting the Canadian medical community.
Funded by the newly reignited Royal College Foundation (RCF), the CAAF will support projects that are aimed at improving physician wellness and wellbeing, addressing environmental factors impacting the delivery and quality of health care, and improving access to care for underserved populations.
Successful projects may receive up to $15,000 annually for a maximum of three years.
The RCF will be accepting CAAF applications until March 31, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. EDT. I invite you to learn more and apply.
