Strategic Plan Advisory Group seeks two Fellow representatives

With the end of the current strategic plan in 2021, Royal College leadership is starting the process of working with members and stakeholders to make decisions on our strategic priorities.  Given the current uncertainties due to the pandemic, the process will take a more agile approach and focus on a two-year horizon. A Strategic Plan Advisory Group (SPAG) is being formed to advise and guide management on the development of a plan for 2021-22, and they are seeking two Fellows to join other volunteer, patient, staff and leadership representatives.

A unique opportunity to advise on key 2021-22 priorities

The advisory group is seeking members with a willingness to share ideas, listen to others and participate in the dialogue. The SPAG terms of reference provides more detail on this unique opportunity, including responsibilities, composition and competencies. Below are a few of the key facts around time commitment that may help in your consideration:

  • SPAG will meet from November 2020 to June 2021 with meetings every two to three weeks in 2020, and then every three to four weeks in 2021.
  • Meetings will be held virtually with an average duration of one to two hours.
  • SPAG representatives may also be invited to participate in other meetings with Council, RCI Board, committees and staff.
