Royal College CEO honoured in Chile

On May 28, 2019, Andrew Padmos, BA, MD, FRCPC, FACP, FRCP, Royal College CEO, was appointed a distinguished member of the Faculty of Medicine, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUCC).

During the presentation, Sr. Ignacio Sanchez, rector of the PUCC, praised the decade-long collaboration between the Universidad and the Royal College. He credits this partnership with enhancing the university’s thinking about, and approach to, medical education.

Dr. Padmos was in Santiago, Chile, for the Latin American Conference on Residency Education (LACRE). LACRE is a bi-annual event that is co-presented by the Royal College and the PUCC. It is modelled after the Royal College’s International Conference on Residency Education (ICRE).
