Council task forces are seeking Fellow input via short surveys

To all Royal College Fellows:

We’re looking for your feedback on two important strategic issues being studied by Royal College Council task forces:

  • Reaffirmation of Professional Competence
  • AI and Emerging Digital Technologies

By now, you should have received email invitations to complete two surveys, one on each topic. You can also access the surveys directly using the links below. Each survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. This is your chance to influence any future recommendations that go to Council.

About the Royal College Council task forces

Task Force on Periodic Reaffirmation of Professional Competence

This task force will formulate and provide recommendations to inform the Royal College’s commitment to developing education, assessment and other strategies that ensure specialists’ competence post-certification.

The task force is chaired by Past-President Kevin Imrie, MD, FRCPC.

Task Force on Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Digital Technologies

This task force will formulate recommendations to inform a strategy on the impact of emerging technologies in specialty medical education, and implications for ongoing professional development of our current Fellows.

The task force is chaired by Richard Reznick, MD, FRCSC.
